The Rad/Comm Vehicle and Rail Radiation Detection Systems are designed specifically to detect the presence of a shielded radioactive source or other radioactive materials in vehicles fully loaded with scrap metals or waste materials.
In the basic configuration, the system consists of a microprocessor controller and two large detector assemblies mounted on each side of a rail track or roadway.
